Again the team at Potton & Burton have put together a unique selection of NZ art for the 2025 Landscape in Contemporary New Zealand Art Calendar. The calendar features 12 vibrant contemporary images of the New Zealand landscape by artists Diana Adams, Hamish Allan, Caroline Bellamy, Michelle Bellamy. I have three artworks featured in the calendar with "Travers River, head of Lake Rotoiti, Nelson Lakes" gracing the cover. After quite some time I have completed 'Endless Evening at Lake Alexandrina'. Having visited the lake many times, this long calm evening pictured in the painting has been the most memorable. I arrived late on a balmy autumn afternoon having never visited before, and it was simply stunning, not a breath of wind with the last golden leaves grasping onto the tree branches. Time seemed eternal as the sun slowly sank behind the hills. More visits over the years...
